The client
Beacon Farm is a family-run ice cream parlour, tearoom and campsite based in Whitby, North Yorkshire. Located near the beach, the farm is a hotspot for tourists visiting Whitby and looking for a scenic place to stay.
The goal
The owners of Beacon Farm were seeking to increase visits to their ice cream parlour and boost campsite bookings through their website. We identified that to achieve this goal their website needed to be re-designed using a new visual style, a clear structure and an improved user experience.

Designing a new WordPress website to boost customer bookings
In response to the client’s brief, we remodelled the structure, user interface, design and messaging, delivering an engaging new website. Attractive images of the ice cream, campsite and staff members were integrated with clear call-to-actions in order to encourage new bookings. In the 3 months following the launch of the website re-design, Beacon Farm experienced a 25% increase in website bookings (compared to the previous 3 month period).
